The 2019 edition of the CIEP-NOGEPA Gas Day will take place on Thursday the 12th of September between 10.00h and 17.00h at the Fokker Terminal in The Hague.

Speakers in the morning include: Gergely Molnar of the International Energy Agency (IEA), discussing the latest Gas Market report series, with a special view on NW-European Gas markets; Uwe Remme, also from the IEA, presenting  and discussing the recent report on Hydrogen prepared for the G-20 summit in Japan; and Noe van Hulst, the Hydrogen Envoy of The Netherlands, who will respond to the Hydrogen report.

Topics covered in the afternoon include: social acceptance and energy transition, the Norwegian gas sector and CCS, and the state of gas production in The Netherlands. Speakers include experts from the TU Delft, Equinor, and the Ministry of Economic Affairs & Climate. In the final session, Members of Parliament will discuss energy transition and the future of Dutch gas production.
