Luc Werring

Luc Werring joined CIEP in 2007.

Work Experience

1984-2007: permanent official for the European Commission.

2000-2005 head of the unit for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency in DG TREN (Transport and Energy).

2005-2007: Principal Advisor to the Commission on energy issues.

Werring has been involved in international energy issues as a participant in the EU-Russian dialogue and the bilateral meetings with India, Japan, China and Ukraine.

Education

MSc degree (cum laude) in Civil Engineering (Technical University Delft, 1974)
